Operations Manager

Primary Responsibilities : Owns the strategy, goals and plans for their team's success and contributes to the strategy and plans of the Site Services organization. Evolves the strategy by facilitating ongoing processes that diagnose the internal and external environment, synthesize the data and leverages cross-functional perspectives or other experts. Facilitates effective strategy setting and decision-making by creating and fostering partnerships within their organization and the functions they interact with. Envisions the future and generates strategies to "change the game" and generates broad support. Introduces new theory or ideas from within or outside Intuit to build the teams' toolset and expand thinking.

Improves the customers' experiences by understanding and focusing on what's important, measuring how we are doing and driving the necessary actions to improve. Leads their team to define their Y's and X's aligned with their customers ' Y's and X's and understands the connections across organizational boundaries. Focuses their team on the critical few: asks insightful questions, filters issues based on a clear understanding of business strategy and objectives, and helps their team break down complex problems. Proposes appropriate trade-offs between short and long term, and balances the needs of Intuit's three key stakeholders. Consistently takes a cross-functional perspective. Builds shared vision within Site Services and with other impacted BU/FG's

Uses PE resources and tools to support defining focused actions to improve results. Makes appropriate trade-offs between the best solutions for the customer and the best solutions for Intuit. Confidently makes high impact decisions despite incomplete or ambiguous information. Communicates the decision and the logic behind the decision. Develops and applies highly effective team operating mechanisms to achieve their business objectives. Analyzes their business and delivers high impact results, using metrics they develop to align with their customers metrics. Frequently re-calibrates workforce plans with business conditions. Owns end-to-end performance management for their staff. Continuously assesses individual and team performance and provides timely, constructive feedback relative to both. Assesses and structures work teams for optimal efficiency, effectiveness and staff development and takes required actions to close gaps. Builds a multi-cultural workforce and leverages diversity of perspective, skills and experience. Motivates, draws out and rewards the best work from individuals and their team. Qualifications : BA/BS degree

5 years Operations Management experience or equivalent

3 years supervisory experience

Working knowledge of process improvement skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to create mechanisms to manage a high volume of workload through the appropriate channels while ensuring outstanding results.

Creativity and initiative to develop proactive solutions to unmet or unidentified challenges.

Contract negotiation skills

Basic accounting skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Working knowledge of basic financial reports
