Oracle 11i Programmers

Oracle 11i Programmers Description: Volt Information Sciences, Inc. is looking for Oracle Programmers to start IMMEDIATELY.

Role/responsibilities include; developer to work on customizing Order Management and Service Contract modules. The candidate will be responsible for gathering/refining requirements, system design, building customizations, testing, documentation and implementation of the customization(s) in Production environment. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in industry ?best practice? for Application customization of Oracle 11i and will be well versed in all phases of (SDLC). The resource will create the system design and build customizations based on industry wide Oracle Applications best practices and advise the Oracle team and Management on such practices. The candidate will work closely with the business end users and the Oracle 11i IT Team, and will be reporting to the IT Project Manager for the engagement.





Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of five years experience working with Oracle Applications 11i, specifically Order Management and Service Contracts. Some exposure to Bill of Materials is preferred.
Excellent SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Alerts and Workflow skills. Experience with XML is desired. Experience working in self-directed, high-performance teams. Comfortable working with personnel and personalities across different disciplines and different management levels. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in industry-wide Oracle Applications 11i best practices.
