OVERVIEW

We are looking for a self-starting, organized Oracle Database Analyst with proven technical, analytical, and organizational skills. This team member is responsible for using, extending, and developing software tools for data analysis, cleansing, and reporting in a dynamic, fast-paced grants management and operations environment using Oracle and J2EE. The analyst will perform sophisticated information analysis on financial and operational data, identify and resolve data quality issues, carry out complex reporting, and provide ongoing database support.

This position will interact with and support the Project Manager, the onsite consulting team, and the client to establish and provide expertise with NIH?s grants management systems and databases.

Applicants must be able to pass a financial investigation and meet US Government requirements for access to confidential information.  This position requires technical, business systems, and client-facing consulting skills. No travel is expected.
 

QUALIFICATIONSBS/BA degree in computer science, business, statistics, or a related field; At least 2 years experience with enterprise Oracle database analysis, reporting, support, design, and tuning;Excellent organizational, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills; Ability to maintain high data quality standards and communicate with senior level management; Excellent teamwork and customer service skills; Independent requirement analysis and problem-solving skills;NIH, HHS or other grants management experience a plus;
