PC Technician

The primary responsibility is to assist internal customers who are experiencing operational, hardware, or network connectivity problems with their computer systems and to provide basic support for the office productivity software used within the organization. Candidates must be willing to participate in an on-call group to provide after hours assistance.

Key Skills/Experience/Education:
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and written communication skills.
- 3+ years experience as an IT professional working with computer hardware and software in an environment with a high level of internal customer interaction.
- The individual must be PC literate and comfortable troubleshooting and resolving network, desktop and application problems.
- Strong understanding of networking operating systems, topologies, security, Ethernet, TCP/IP and remote communications.
- Network printer troubleshooting experience is required as well as minor maintenance repairs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills necessary as well as the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Proven track record in customer service and an ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Effectively work in a team environment and have flexibility to adapt to changes.
- One or more of the following certifications desired: A+, MCDST, MCSA, Network+, CCNA
- Must be flexible and open to overtime.
