Position Description #DV55950 SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER (Level 3) - NEXT GENERATION MOBILE DEVICES

Want to work with a small team developing software for new advanced Mobile devices? The team includes Hardware, mechanical and industrial designers and is responsible for the complete product. The current project includes Windows applications, firmware on MSP430 devices connected over USB. Future applications include porting the latest Windows CE Operating System to the new devices, debugging it, plus writing and modifying drivers as needed. You'll develop software programs of a complex nature, including operating systems, applications and/or network products for external use. You'll also develop project plans, functional specifications and schedules for these products. You'll design and perform analysis on complex programs and systems. Finally, you'll assist in determining product requirements and enhancements. -

Qualifications
- 4 plus years work related experience preferred.
- Relevant technical expertise required - Experience in Windows drivers / Windows applications a must and experience in Windows CE drivers would be very useful.
- Strong communication skills required.
- May require advanced knowledge of programming languages and/or development tools in one area, and moderate level skills in multiple areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required. Master's degree is preferred and may substitute for up to 2 years of related experience.
