PeopleSoft Manager
North Wales, PA

We are seeking a PeopleSoft (Senior) Developer with extensive knowledge, skills and abilities with PeopleSoft and related programming technologies to design, develop, test software, debug, modify, and write documentation for the HRIS applications. In this role, you will report to and work closely with the PeopleSoft Application Manager to deliver functionality across the enterprise and provide the highest level of skill, quality, and timeliness of work while keeping abreast of changes in the related fields of technology and software development. Additionally you will, interact with the end-user community to identify requirements and enhancements to the software. Responsibilities:
?Assist with the support of ICON's PeopleSoft HRMS, Benefits (Base Benefits and Benefits Administration), Recruiting and Payroll Interface modules in coordination with other global team members.
?Senior technical-functional PeopleSoft support professional. Primary background should be Technical with considerable functional experience in directly dealing with HR as well as finance clients.
?Liaison with IT personnel, end users, HR generalists, recruiters as well as mid and senior management in the USA and globally.
?Act as backup contact for HRIS regarding all open issues/change requests
?Quickly and accurately create complex Quieries and reports using Peoplesoft query tools.
?Develop necessary programs/modifications to satisfy business cases stated in change requests.
?Be responsible for unit testing and coordinating acceptance testing with the users; understanding/adhering to migration path methodology for all change request modifications.
?Create documentation explaining logic, design, and any assumptions for a change request as necessary.
?Monitor status of all nightly batch jobs including the review of logs to ensure overall nominal system status.
?Stop and restart the servers and/or process scheduler.
?Coordinate with network operations to ensure regular server and database maintenance is performed.
?Assist with the scheduling and implementing of all required patches, bundles and PeopleTools upgrades
?Actively participate in any major application upgrades.
?Will perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements:
?The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 4 years in a PeopleSoft HRMS developer role.
?Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience including at least one major release upgrade.
?One year of actual production support including any 3 of the following modules: PeopleSoft HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll Interface with ADP, Payroll for North America, E-recruit, Recruit Workforce.
?Knowledge of PeopleSoft technical architecture, including application server, process schedulers and web servers with SQL Server focus.
?Must have Senior-level technical knowledge of PeopleTools 8.1x and higher, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component interface, Security administration, and SQR programming.
?Must have the ability to design and implement components and interfaces, and integrate with other components.
?Must be proficient in PIA.
?Possess functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM suite of products such as HRMS/Benefits/Payroll Interface/Payroll.
?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Desired skills:
?Experience with at least one full PeopleSoft implementation/application upgrade.
?Performed PeopleSoft bundles/service pack updates.
?Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server/Windows 2000 Server.
?Proficiency in designing and writing Application Engine programs, and some Crystal reports.
?Proficient in the design and writing of SQR programs.
?In-depth knowledge of at least three of the following self-service functionality: eRecruit (or Candidate gateway), eProfile, ePay, and eBenefits
