Performance/Scalability Engineer
The IBM Rational Jazz server team is looking for a strong Java developer and designer with an enthusiasm for solving hard problems in creative ways. Looking for a developer with experience in the design and execution of scalability and performance testing for J2EE applications, and analysis of
performance and scalability issues, prototyping enhancements and working with remote teams to improve server performance. Knowledge of WebSphere, J2EE, Web Services (REST and SOAP), Web application programming (HTML, AJAX, JavaScript), relational database (DB2/Cloudscape, Oracle, etc), Eclipse plug-in development, skill with performance and memory optimization tools (Rational, YourKit, JProbe) and familiarity with IBM's or other team development toools would be beneficial. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin. J2EE and Web programming, Java and J2EE performance measurement and analysis, Relational database programming and tuning, Advanced WebSphere configuration and administration, Tomcat configuration and tuning, Eclipse plug-in development. xallx
