Post Release QA Tester

Post Release QA Tester   Tickle, the online consumer digital media arm of Monster.com, is looking to hire a bright Post Release QA Tester for our fast-paced, dynamic company in downtown San Francisco. Our site includes personality tests, matchmaking, social networking products, and more.


 

We are looking for an entry level, post release quality assurance tester who is customer focused, quality conscious, passionate about their work and wants to be a part of a fun and exciting team dedicated to delivering innovative, flawless web products and services. The ideal candidate will be someone who can think outside the box, quickly identify and resolve quality defects and contribute to an evolving quality assurance program.  This is the perfect opportunity for a recent college graduate.

 

This individual will report to the Director of Customer Care and work closely with the Customer Care Support Team, Product Managers and Engineering Teams to create and execute post release test plans. They will be responsible for thorough and complete step?by-step testing of products after releases to ensure all critical product functions and systems are working properly while reporting defects, bugs and quality issues immediately. This individual will also work on additional projects as assigned and is expected to make contributions and improvements to quality and streamline testing processes and procedures.

 

Essential Functions:

? BS/BA degree, preferably in Computer Science

? Excellent computer skills with Windows 98, 2000, XP, multiple Internet browsers and internet experience a must. Macintosh experience a plus

? 6 - 12 months experience in software QA role using web-based technology is desired

? Excellent analytical skills and problem solving abilities

? Must be detail oriented and willing to work a flexible schedule timed with product releases

? Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills

? Ability to work with minimal supervision
