Provide database administration and development expertise to the SIGDEV organization and to a team of multi-discplined engineers developing Java/J2EE and web-based applications. Be responsible for developing relational; databases, database parser software and database loading software to support Operations Directorate analysts. Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support customer requirements, define database organization and indexing methods, perform conceptual and logical data modeling and implement database security. Additional duties may also include database monitoring and performance tuning.

Required skills would be 8-10 years experience in the development or administration of a mainstream RDBMS such as Oracle, Sybase or MS SQL Server. Ability to develop stored procedutres, triggers and installation scripts using some form of SQL (ie, T-SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL, etc).

BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.

TS/SCI clearance with a full scope poly is required.
