Description:
Under the supervision of the Functional Test Director, the Principal Software QA Engineer will contribute to meeting testing, quality control, and quality assurance objectives and deliverables. The Principal Software QA Engineer will lead a team of Subject Matter Experts that will validate Mitchell products from a domain and user perspective. Supervises Subject Matter Experts at various levels of expertise, including Seniors. The Principal Software QA Functionality Test Engineer will work closely with technical resources across the entire QA department, as well as Development, Product, Project Management, and other departments.

 

 

? Requirements:
Minimum 10 years total of commercial software quality assurance experience, at least consisting of:

o  Minimum 7 years software development experience.

o  Minimum 3 years experience working as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer. Commercial software development experience using varying software development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile, V-Model, RUP). Excellent personal interaction skills and leadership traits.Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Experience executing multiple projects. Supervise and participate in the implementation of the quality assurance procedures and test processes. Evangelize quality and testing across the organization. Represent the QA organization during the overall development cycle of Mitchell products and services. Analyze core products and services for automation opportunities. Define set of quality specific metrics that can be collected automatically. Participate in the design of the programs automatically collecting metrics. Create quality and test process documentation. Participate in test strategy and test approach creation. Identify areas where test cycle improvements can be achieved through use of tools or infrastructure communicate those ideas to Senior Manager. Experience with both, software products as well as hosted solutions, preferred. Must have experience with rapid product release cycles. Requires a 4-year college degree in Computer Science / related discipline or equivalent experience. Extended work hours as required to meet project schedules and commitments. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship.
