Programmer/Developer

Job Description Responsible for design,programming & testing modifications to a major outage
management customer service application. Modifying creating Services for Object Oriented Programs, Enterprise Batch, CICS COBOL, .Net application programs used by the workbench to maintain the database & execute architecture programs that are written for DB2. Will closely interact with other application developers, business and testing analysts & will be integral to the success of the project. There are many dependencies associated to the application development phase of this project, consequently the expectation is that assignment dates & application development milestones will be met.

Required Skills: Expertise in design, programming & testing in CICS Command Level, JCL & Batch COBOL, XML, .NET using SOAP & Composite SOA Development Tools. Experience utilizing COBOL & SOA to access a relational database, preferably DB2 Strong SQL skills (experience with QMF, SPUFI or TOAD). Comfort with developing via TSO/ISPF editor MVS OS/390, COBOL CICS Design, programming experience .NET, XML Development experience. Strong analytical & people skills

Preferred: Experienced TSO/ISPF Dialog Manager & Panel development Skills. Ability to use ISPF skeletons, utility and edit macros Experience using COBOL development, compile & link JCL. knowledge of RDBMS, DB2 access & bind process knowledge Experience with analysis, design & coding of Mainframe Batch and On-Line Enterprise COBOL/DB2 programs. Experience with design, coding of integration of COBOL XML, DB2, .Net & CICS. knowledge & use of IBM development tools (Batch/On-line Debugger, File Manager, F/M for DB2, Fault Analyzer) Knowledge and understanding of IBM Work Load Simulator Tool .Net Development experience Autosys experience
