Programmer (JAVA)

The JAVA Programmer performs a variety of development activities in an environment that uses Java and Oracle application based services.

The candidate will participate in the development, deployment, maintenance and interfacing of an Oracle based distributed, enterprise system.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 1 year experience in the following is required:

" software development experience in a government or commercial environment.
" experience in object oriented analysis, design, and development.
" experience in web development and web technologies- HTTP, HTML, XML, XSL, Web Services, SSL/ASO, must have EAI and transport experience.
" experience being in and integrating with an Oracle database environment.

Additional Requirements:

" Demonstrable experience with OC4J, J2EE & Java implementations within Oracle.
" Proficiency with Oracle 9i/10g suite of enterprise tools is required.
" Ability to troubleshoot complex system problems.
" Experience with Microsoft Visio.
" Possession of an active SECRET security clearance.

Required Skills:
" Experience developing for the Microsoft Server platform and or Unix related technologies is a plus.
" Knowledge of data migration; data warehouse extraction, transformation and loading (ETL); application development for transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) business applications, a plus.
" Experience working closely with customers and the ability to work as an effective member of an integrated government contractor team a plus.
