Progress Developer

Our client, a premier software provider in Colorado Springs, is looking to a Progress Developer.

This is a Mid/Senior Level position for a Programmer/Analyst who will be working on a Progress OE10 based Distribution System as part of a team that provides 4GL code analysis, requirement analysis, design, and development. The position includes maintenance of the current Graphical and Character system as well as new system feature enhancements.

Position typically requires a Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science or comparable training and experience. Incumbent should have strong Progress programming skills; good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation; a good understanding of the entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance; and excellent communication skills.

Preferred experience would include 3+ years of Progress Software development experience to include V9 and OE10 and Progress AppServer, proven scoping and indexing skills, and strong analytic problem solving skills. SQL DB, Progress Smart Object experience, or knowledge of wholesale distribution and warehouse management is a plus.
