Position Description

 

?  Assist the Project Manager in managing projects

?  Team management
From a pool of either local or worldwide production resources.

?  File management
File tracking, integrity checks, hand-offs, hand-backs between GPM or client and production teams, FTP and project structure creation.

?  Project tracking
Status reporting and client status meetings
Follow up on outstanding issues, flag critical path tasks.
Prioritize tasks
Communication both internally and to client
Check hand-offs to insure they meet client requirements.
Project information maintenance ? Gemini, ExtraGlobal, etc.

?  Input contract into Job Costing System, create POs

?  Project communication with production team
Control information flow to optimize project execution.

?  Handle queries

 

 

Required Skills/Background

 

?  Language skills
Good level of spoken and written English

?  Preferably some production experience in the field.

?  Desirable technical experience in the field.
Processes, tools, risk areas, etc.

?  Communications skills
Correct communication in tone and style for each situation. Competence in e-mail, report and presentation preparation.

?  Analytical skills
Able to analyze new and changing scenarios and adapt the project to them.

?  Organizational
Team building, scheduling, negotiations, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, motivational leadership.
