Our customer in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to work as Project Management Specialist?for a? 6 month contract to hire opportunity.?Job Responsibilities: Manages the creation and delivery of discrete deliverables directly to customers as well as providing leadership, assistance and advice to customers. Responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements with a major emphasis on management and coordination tasks. Manage?the customers and third-party vendor resources while ensuring good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used throughout the engagement to deliver an integrated solution. Act as a business partner in development, sales, service design, existing business growth, and delivery of new business.? At higher levels, incumbents are instrumental in overall planning and selling of services, and increasingly have greater industry knowledge and cross industry experience.?Will provide overall project leadership and guidance, ensuring that initiatives remain on schedule and within acceptable parameters. Prepares status reports, assures timeline compliance, assesses risks, and recommends alternative solutions to project issues. Provides direction to the project team members and appropriate communications to customer and account leadership regarding the project. The specialist should have 2-9 years of progressive directly related experience in application of Project Management, or combination of education and experience.?
