Position Summary:



Responsible for financial system development and deployment including determination of business requirements, software selection, integration, quality assurance, training, documentation, and user support.



Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:



Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance, equivalent major.
CPA, Advanced degree in Finance/Business or Computer Science a plus.
Minimum ten years general accounting/procurement experience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
Ability to manage multiple projects diverse in nature.
Ability to adapt to highly variable and non-recurring situations requiring immediate attention.
Experience in installation of integrated accounting software.
Experience with large, publicly held corporations preferably with multiple locations a plus.
Publicly held company reporting and auditing exposure.
Must be proficient in common financial spreadsheet programs as well as integrated financial software package (PeopleSoft preferred).
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsible for system administration functions for financial system.
Provide expertise, guidance and direct development support for financial and reporting systems.
Integrate new business/product lines or business process changes.
Configure and implement new financial procurement systems software packages.
Create test scripts to validate Quality Assurance and certification of financial systems.
Coordinate projects with vendors, client groups and system programmers.
Perform role of Business Project Manager for specific financial systems projects.
Learn and analyze new software capabilities and workflow process to establish new job functions.
Responsible for administration of Financial Systems and functions.
Train new users and provide on going support to financial users.
Translate business requirements into system solutions.
Performs other related duties that may be required.
