Position Description
Public Relations Manager:
1. Oversees the representation of a positive company image to the media, analysts, influencers, clients and shareholders.
2. Drives US day to day PR in a coordinated fashion with Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Strategy and Sales Operations to ensure tight goal-alignment, consistency, and timely execution.
Responsibilities
Public Relations ProgramWorks with Senior Director of Corporate Communications to develop and implement strategic PR and AR plan, in alignment with sales objectives, marketing objectives and corporate marketing strategy.
o Proactively drives FAST coverage by media; handles inbound inquiries.
o Manages preparation and dissemination of Oslo Stock Exchange notices, press releases and articles, and manages media events, briefings and interviews. Manages speaking and awards program Manages proper filing, storage and retrieval of media coverage. Prepares weekly PR program reports and metrics.Manages relationships with various outside vendors, including BusinessWire.Assist in management of Global teams and agencies.Will responsible for building and managing world class customer reference program.
Position Requirements
Education & TrainingBA/BS degree in marketing, public relations or related studies
Skills & Experience6 - 8 years professional PR experience in technology arena, software preferredTrack record in media relations and agency relationsSolid understanding/experience of full public relations mixDemonstrated management skillsDemonstrated analytic skillsStrong communications and writing skills a mustUnderstanding of how to develop a brand to compete with major industry players
