QA Analyst

Performs activities required to test and document exceptions to specified enhancements and corrections to loan origination software applications. The QA Analyst I will develop and follow written test plans to accomplish a quality deliverable product to our clients. In addition, he/she will build and maintain test scripts in an effort to complete required testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Under supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for the accurate testing and evaluation of software programs against design specifications and user requirements.

The type of activities that the quality professional performs at this level include:
1. develops test scripts, executing test scripts and scenarios and analyzing results for validity and clarity.
2. Documenting, tracking and verifying defects and fixes across products, platforms and releases.
3. Maintains test plans and scripts to assigned products to assure product quality form a functional and qualitative perspective.
4. Participating in the planning, executing and tracking (controlling) stages of implementation or software product development projects as necessary.
5. Providing QA task effort estimates within confidence levels appropriate to the project stage.
6. Completing tasks within duration and effort commitments.
7. Providing problem solving regarding QA task issues as well as project and resource challenges.
