QA Performance Analyst

HealthTalk is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, dedicated, and professional individual to contribute to our continued success and become a valuable member of our technology team. The candidate must have previous solid and strong QA analysis experience, be able to work independently, and possess the ability to perform in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

 

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Performance Analyst will be responsible for defining and documenting application performance requirements and developing the performance test strategy, as well as creating and executing performance and load testing for web based applications.

 

Responsibilities:

q Monitor and report the status of load, performance, stress and reliability testing.

q Create test project schedules as well as communicate methodologies, test plans, test cases and progress to peers and supervisors.

q Analyze the given performance results and make real-world system change recommendations.

q Write and execute test scripts which identify errors and vulnerabilities within the current and future software and applications.

q Provide secondary application testing support

q Report discovered bugs and re-test said issues once changes have been implemented.

q Responsible for builds and configuration in the QA environments

 

Qualifications:

q REQUIRED

o 5+ years of professional Web Software Quality Assurance, including the development of QA strategies, test plans and procedures.

o Experience in JavaScript and HTML

o Experience with IIS

o Experience identifying. implementing and utilizing various industry standard performance testing solutions

o Experience in bug tracking software concepts.

o Experience identifying and analyzing quality risks

o Experience determining testing scope, preparing project testing schedule, and testing plans

o Experience with load, performance, stress and reliability testing

q PREFERRED

o Experience in Configuration/Source Management using PVCS Version Manager/Serena ChangeMan, Microsoft VSS, CVS, or similar tools

o Object Oriented programming in VB, Java or C++

o Experience with ColdFusion.
