 Job Description

NextGen Healthcare seeks a highly motivated QA Analyst to join the Quality Assurance team in our Atlanta office (Buckhead). Must demonstrate Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and best practices, Technical Writing and Reporting, Development Life Cycle and methodologies experience. Ability to contribute in a team environment and work across departments. Should have functional and basic non-functional testing experience. Has the ability to create test plans, test cases and automated test scripts.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate and maintain test scripts for various test scenarios using Mercury Test Suite. Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content. Generate and maintain test plans, test procedures and test reports Integrate and test software programs to verify and validate program functions are meeting specification and requirement Identify, analyze and document software program defects Review computer logs, identify program errors and recommend program improvements or revisions to implementation team Contributes to establishment of standards and procedures for program design and testing

 

QUALIFICATIONSA Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience Minimum 3 years experience in software testing Require knowledge of QA methodologies and standards Work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in an interactive team environment Must be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to understand and communicate technical information Demonstrated analytical and technical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Must have knowledge in Microsoft operating systems such as Windows NT, Windows 2000, XP ? Experience in VB 6.0, VB.net Experience in testing Application software (manual and automated) Detailed knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical services or healthcare background Relational database experience preferably with Oracle Oracle Developer Client Server and Web Deployed Reports and Forms experience Experience using advanced SQL queries Strong technical understanding of database design
