QM Infrastructure Specialist

The current major functions of the QM Infrastructure Specialist are to:

 

1. Configure, and administer all Quality Management systems to support the QA Testing team which currently performs functional, regression, and performance tests for online applications

2. Perform the performance and functional testing for SFO applications

3.  Administer all testing tools, such as Mercury tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, TestDirector), Utilities, DB2 Client, etc.

4. Reconfigure environments to support desired testing configurations

5. Evaluate and recommend new infrastructure components, resolve infrastructure and architecture problems

 

Desired Skills:

? Web and online infrastructure/systems knowledge ? at least 4 years

? Extensive J2EE architecture knowledge, JAVA programming language experience, and DB2 experience ? at least 4 years

? Working knowledge of MS Internet Information Services (IIS) ? at least 3 years

? Solid knowledge of the IBM Web Sphere suite such as IBM WebSphere Application Server V5.1 (WAS 5.1), Network Deployment Manager and WSAD (WebSphere Studio Application Developer) ? at least 3 years

? Working experience in Clear Case, Clear Quest, Mercury tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, TestDirector, Quality Center) and ability to install and configure these tools and write scripts for these tools - at least 3 years

? Working experience in performance testing using Mercury LoadRunner ? at least 3 years

? Experience in basic scripting languages such as DOS, VB, Perl, etc. ? at least 2 years

? Administration experience with different platforms such as:  Windows 2003, UNIX, and IBM Mainframe - at least 3 years

? Working knowledge of network configurations and protocols, and load balancing (working knowledge of switches, load balancers, routers, etc.) - at least 3 years

? Working knowledge of performance monitoring tools such as HPOpenView Transaction Analyzer ? at least 3 years

? Working knowledge of Imaging applications such as PowerQuest
