Quality Engineer ? Flash Authoring (Korean)
Position Summary:
Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer who is fluent and a native Korean speaker. You will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated engineering team.
As the Flash International Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the localized versions of the Flash Authoring tool meet the level of quality of the English version. This is accomplished by isolating and reporting linguistic as well as functional
bugs in localized releases of the Flash Authoring tool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to gain exposure to the software development environment while working on cutting-edge technology. You will work directly with QA and Development engineers to ensure high quality international releases of the software.

Responsibilities:
? Execute test cases according to predefined test plans.
? Review written material from an end-user perspective.
? Verify website content and functionality.
? Write detailed bug reports and verify and regress previously reported bugs.
Knowledge & Skills:
? Native-level fluency in both written and spoken, in Korean.
? Experience with Flash MX 2004 or Flash 8.
? Solid technical knowledge of Windows and Macintosh OSX operating systems.
? Self starter with acceptable communication and writing skills in English.
? Ability to learn and use new technologies quickly.
? Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco office. No telecommuting is available
for this position.

Ideal
? Previous experience in Quality Assurance testing software applications.
? Experience in the software development industry, particularly in localization.
? Knowledge of text behavior, font handling and issues regarding internationalization
of software applications.
? Knowledge of web design, HTML, Javascript, XML, ASP or SQL.
? Ability to write and understand advanced Flash ActionScript.
