Qa Analyst

Adecco Technical is seeking a Qa Analyst for a contract to hire position in Alpharetta.Responsibilities:
Primary Functions:
- Develop test plans and test scripts from product requirements and design specifications.
- Execute and analyze complex test cases and compare the results against expected results and product requirements.
- Participate with peers in formal test plan and test summary inspections to determine adherence to standards.
- Review test results for compliance to specifications and then report any discrepancies to management.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and to determine product specifications and requirements
Secondary Functions:
- Respond to technical direction from Senior QA Engineers and QA Manager.
- Respond to administrative direction from QA Manager and QA Project Leader.
- Participate in technical and professional training as required.
- Work and function in a team environment.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or 3+ years experience in the field

Experience:

- 3+ years experience in testing software either client server applications or web
applications is required
- 2+ years experience in developing and executing test plans and complex test
cases is required
- Experience with a defect tracking tool is required. Prefer experience with Test
Director
*** Experience using automated software testing tools is preferred. Prefer
experience with the Mercury Suite.
*** Experience with SQL (structured query language) and creating queries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Self motivated, team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelors Degree or 3+ years experience in the field
- CSTE or CSQA certifications are preferred
