Qa Test Engineer

Looking for an outstanding Test engineer who has extensive expertise in System test and develop test plans, test cases for Server products. The position has the responsibility for assuring the quality of IBM s WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Business Integration Tools and the system as a whole. In addition, he/she will create end-to end system test scenario and test the solution in cluster environment. Also Migration/upgrade, Stress & Endurance testing on different system configurations and execute the test plans. From time to time the employee will automate existing test cases and will also work towards developing software tools that will enable automation of testing needs. He/she will provide feedback into testing strategies with a view to improve quality and increase productivity of the group. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: 4+ years in a QA environment, Understanding of QA methodologies, Experience with writing test plans, develop test cases and uses cases. Experience with automation tools (Junit preferred) The candidate must be very knowledgeable in a programming language, Java preferred. Experience designing and implementing tests for complex distributed application Knowledge of J2EE. XML, SOAP, Web Services Programming experience in Java Knowledge of SQL and database schemas Knowledge of Unix and/or Windows 2003 Knowledge of Software testing methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented & Process oriented Analytical thinking & Problem solving skills.
