ClearOrbit is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team!

Position Summary:

ClearOrbit is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to actively participate in a dynamic work environment tasked with increasing customer satisfaction through dedication to deliver the highest quality software products. Quality Assurance team members are responsible for the overall quality of customer deliverables through leadership in developing and upholding best practice testing methodologies. Analysts should possess a thorough understanding of supply chain processes and knowledge of how traditional inventory tracking systems (i.e. Oracle Application, SAP) are utilized to manage procurement, manufacturing, warehouse management and shipping activities. Strong time management skills are essential to ensure that project timelines are consistently met.

 

Duties include:Interpreting functional and design specifications to develop test plansWriting and executing test plans for installations, system tests and regression test with clear inputs and resultsAssists in setup of test data within ERP applications and ClearOrbit productsConducting manual tests of software product functionalityDocumenting clear, concise and reproducible bug reportsReviewing product documentation for functional accuracy and grammarProactively escalates issues to senior staff membersDelivers weekly project status reports Demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

 

Requirements:General knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with Mercury Interactive testing toolsExperience with Oracle Applications or other ERP (2 years preferable)Knowledge of supply chain processes (i.e. manufacturing and distribution)Introductory database operator skills (relational database features and SQL query commands) ***Interpreting PL/SQL code a plusFamiliarity with UNIX operating system commands used to navigate and manage file systemsBasic database administration concepts (software migration path by way of multiple servers/instances)Experience with J2EE applications and test scripts a plus
