Quality Assurance Engineer- Enterprise Storage

You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies in the areas of networking, advanced storage devices in SCSI, Fibre Channel, TCP/IP communications (from packet level all the way up to application level), enterprise resource management, Internet security, including advanced encryption technology (public key and symmetric key cryptography).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Quality Assurance Engineers ensure the quality and integrity of FalconStor's software products. This dynamic position will have you working with the latest technologies in networking, storage, TCP/IP communications, and enterprise resource management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

We are actively seeking both entry-level and experienced Quality Assurance Engineers:



Knowledge or experience in any of the following areas, preferably at expert level, is a plus. Experienced engneers must meet some of the following requirements:

- Minimum of two years experience in QA black box testing.
- Familiarity with QA concepts, automated software testing tools, and scripting.
- Ability to write test plans, manage test suites, and develop testing tools to increase efficiency.
- Proficiency using various Unix, Linux(Redhat/SuSE) and Windows 2000/2003 operating systems.
- Knowledge of NAS, SAN, various databases, server hardware, and networking.
- Experience in storage technologies and applications such as SCSI and backup devices, Fibre Channel equipment, disk RAID, and backup software.
