Quality Control Manager

Scantron Corporation has an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Control team!? We are currently seeking a QC Manager who will be responsible for the Quality Control of all deliverables associated with project work completed for Survey Services accounts as scheduled in Microsoft Project.? Deliverables include data collection processes, statistical reporting and executive summary analysis results.? Other deliverables include Interactive Voice Response, Personal Telephone Interview, and electronic Web Surveys.

While maintaining production flow, the QC Manager provides quality-assurance support to each assigned project to ensure that the deliverable is in accordance with customer and department quality requirements. Inspector audits the deliverables of others through examination, inspection, measurement, components, and documentation. Documents the non-conformance or suspected non-conformance to standards, through the identification of unsuccessful deliverable audits.?

The QC Manager?works closely with various Operations teams and Management to identify and resolve quality issues.? Continuously strives as a team to improve the quality of services, processes and final deliverables.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: Responsible for implementing inspection processes as documented in Survey Services Methods and Procedures.? Performs inspection on form definitions against Scantron press copy forms to assure that specifications are met according to Customer?s data output requirements.?In process inspection, inspector will check correctness of scan forms processing. Inspects Data Collection processing as instructed on internal PIMS Data Collection Specification document provided by the Account Manager.Inspects correctness of Web Surveys as instructed on internal PIMS Programming Specification document provided by the Account Manager.Verifies Interactive Voice Response and Personal Telephone Interview presented as defined in IVR and PTI scripts.Inspects correctness of report output as instructed on internal PIMS Programming Specification document provided by the Account Manager.Tests calculation results for accuracy and formatting requirements of statistical reports provided by programming department.Inspects correctness of report output as instructed on Consultant Specification document provided by the Account Manager.Tests calculation results for accuracy and formatting requirements of analysis reports provided by Consultants.Utilizes Microsoft Project to obtain scheduled quality assignments and provide feedback to Account Manager through accurate and timely response to scheduled activity.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:Requires bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent from four-year college or university4-6 years managerial experience in a manufacturing environmentQuality Assurance formal training

Full understanding of the quality system; understands quality?? processes. Ability to read, understand and interpret?technical ?documents that describe the system and processesWorking understanding of statistics or statistical applications Experience developing Internet, statistical and/or database reporting??applications a plus
