Developer / Release Manager

 

Visibility Corporation, a leading provider of ERP software solutions for manufacturing and municipal organizations, is seeking an experienced Developer/Release Manager for its Andover, MA location. The Developer / Release Manager should have database management experience. Knowledge of business applications would be helpful, but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to learn .NET.  The position reports to the Development Department  Manager.

 

The Developer/Release Manager is responsible for packaging the components of Visibility?s software products, ORACLE and SQL Server database administration and developing .NET code.  This includes creation and maintenance of product installation scripts, database schema installation and working as a part of development team creating .NET-based software products.

 

Successful candidates must have the following skills, experience and education:

 

Skills and Experience

 DBA skills with Oracle and/or SQLServer Install Shield experience. Working knowledge of Unix and Windows Server operating systems. Good SQL skills, knowledge of triggers and stored procedures. Experience with Visual Source Safe. Data Modeling experience is a plus. .Net knowledge is a plus. Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication Development experience on large scale software projects 3+ years professional experience required

 

Education

Bachelor?s Degree in a related field
