Rational Tools Administrator

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  The Administrative Office of the Courts seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Rational Tool Suite Administrator for enterprise web applications.  Responsibilities include installation, modification, tuning, administration, training and support of the full Rational tool suite for software development.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:  BS in Computer Science or equivalent and eight years of experience in the appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum of three years demonstrated experience in Rational tool suite administration.  Candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in SQL programming.  Sold communication skills (verbal and written), strong technical and analytical skills, and proven administrative skills supporting a software development organization are essential for this position.  End-user experience with Rational tools and knowledge of business-driven development process, object-oriented methodology, web services, cvs, and Java are highly desirable.
