Release Manager

Responsibilities Create and implement release testing standards and acceptance criteria for product releases; internally test releases prior to distribution to customers to ensure quality of release Establish Development and Release Management policies and standards to assist in the quality delivery of releases; assess, recommend and execute process improvements Develop, support, and implement beta programs for each product release Manage code requirements for all releases and create executable packages for distribution Establish and manage release builds and custom code modifications and deliveries to various client sites and subsequent inclusion into full product deployments Ensure that proper and complete documentation accompanies all product releases before they are distributed to customers Work with clients on release issues as needed
Qualifications 2-4 years managing a software development team required Familiarity with software development methodologies and product life cycles Experience with managing software builds required Experience utilizing InstallShield and/or source control software tools desired Advanced knowledge of multiplatform O/S and database administration experience required Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
