SAP ABAP programmer

To plan, develop, analyze and maintain reports, proper transport strategies and testing protocols, supervise all the activities related to the design, development and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications as well as supporting and upgrading existing systems and applications. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES „X Provide onsite report development and support for the SAP implementation by a Central IT located in Italy. „X Worked with Central IT in Italy to maintain proper transport strategies and testing protocols. „X Interact with user, analyze requirements and develop technical specifications/designs for items such as custom development of enhancements, interfaces, reports and conversions. „X Develop and maintain new reports in ABAP, ABAP Query, ALV and/or Report Painter. „X Design, execute, assess and troubleshoot software programs and applications, including configuration, coding, development and documentation of software specifications throughout project life cycle. „X Oversee system startups in a timely and accurate fashion and provide support to other departments where required. „X Ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of in-house information systems to support core organizational functions. Enforce monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all networking software and associated operating systems. „X Identify, communicate and resolve issues toward maximizing the benefit of I.T. system investments. „X Design, install, monitor, maintain, perform and tune production databases while maintaining high levels of data availability. „X Research, supervision, administration and other related functions to the position. Qualifications :
REQUIREMENTS Personal Profile High energy, self-starter able to identify areas for business process improvement and customer service driven. Strong team player and relationship builder with excellent supervisory skills. Able to work well under pressure and willing to travel. Education Master¡¦s Degree in computer science, information technology and/or business administration. Skills and Experience SAP ABAP programmer with experience in version 4.5 and higher. Experience with ALV Reporting, Drill-down reporting, ABAP Query, Smartforms, SAP Script, data migration and integration using LSMW, Report Painter/Report Writer. Experience developing Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, NET, Microsoft Project, Office Suite, Visio, MCSD, MCAD and MS SQL Server. Strong knowledge of general data conversion process and various SAP tools available to process/migrate data. Ability to identify the right combination of tools needed to resolve issues. Example: determine best combination of configuration and coding to solve an issue since coding/programming alone is not always the right solution.
