SAP FI/CO Business Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Sr. Business Analyst - FI/CO, within our IT organization located in our world headquarters office.  This position has principle responsibility for the development of SAP Product Costing for all domestic and international locations.  Other responsibilities include the following:

 

* Perform analysis to devise and/or modify procedures which solve complex problems using information technology, keeping in mind the capacity and limitations of the technology available, operating time and form of desired results.

* Prepare detailed specifications from which systems are developed or modified.

* Design, document, develop, and test systems in accordance with the company and IT strategic plans.  Must have a command of the technology and business processes to complete all phases of the system development methodology.

* Work with the Customer in the implementation of information technology in accordance with the company and IT strategic plans.
 
 
 
Qualifications
 
* Bachelors degree (Accounting, Finance, IT or Mathematics preferred).

* 4-6 years experience designing, building and implementing business solutions using information technology or in related field.

* 3-5 years experience in product costing in an SAP Manufacturing environment.

* 2-3 years experience configuring FI/CO in SAP.

* Experience with COPA (Profitability Analysis).

* Working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting and Fixed Assets.

* Prior experience with deployments and rollouts of functionality within a global setting.

* Structured analysis/design/programming, Project management methodologies,

database concepts with Technical/Business writing skills.

* Strong Background in SAP Configuration and understanding of ABAP/4 and SAP Dictionary.

* Detailed knowledge of structured system/software development methodologies preferred
