SAS ETL Analyst

SAS ETL Analyst Description: The candidate is required to define and implement ETL design, development and implementation standards and procedures based on industry best practices. The candidate will be working closely with the ETL Developers to ensure adherence of the ETL guidelines, standards and procedures to be applied to all development projects. Participate or assist in the translation of user requirements into data flows, detail technical specifications and data mapping. Design and develop the data transformations for source system data extraction; data staging, movement and aggregation; information and analytics delivery; and data quality handling. The candidate is responsible to operationalize the SAS production environment. Adhoc SAS programming in support of development of Decision Intelligence report development.



Requirements:
At least 4 years of solid SAS programming experience. Unix and PC SAS. Solid experience in Base-SAS, SAS Macros, SAS Connect, SAS Access, ODS, SAS ETL Studio, SAS Warehouse Administrator, PROC SQL. Good knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS environment.


Familiarity with C, C++, Java, PHP and PERL/Unix Scripting (desirable). Ability to work within formal Change Management methodology. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes. Candidate must be able to work on multiple, concurrent projects in a matrixed personnel environment.
