SDE / SDET for New Product Team (not MSFT)

Apologies for the lack of detail regarding this opportunity, but we're looking to operate off the radar for the time being.  What we can tell you is this: our firm is currently representing a very profitable and stable consultancy that is developing a innovative software tool that will truly be the first of its kind in a highly specialized (and very fascinating) vertical.

If this is starting to paint an attractive picture, then this may be the opportunity for you.  We are looking for junior to mid-level professionals who have experience with every stage of the product life-cycle.  The work environment is going to be extremely flexible, so you must show a capacity to effectively work in an autonomous, deliverables-based environment.  This team is being led by a former gaming wizard, so you can expect a similar vibe.  And remember: the benefits of a fun, buzzing start-up environment WITHOUT the worry of where your next check in coming from.  This group is being internally funded by a very well established consultancy.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for building (SDE) or testing (SDET) the real meat of the application - basically the applications/services that will be interacting with enterprise-class systems operating in Microsoft server environments.  Extreme centricity/strength with C / C++ / C# is key here, so make sure you can walk the talk.  Also, previous experience designing applications that can talk to Active Directory, Exchange, WMI, etc., is a huge bonus for this position, but necessarily required.  You must also be able to demonstrate a history of building very robust, highly scalable products in Enterprise-class environments.
