SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER

The strongest candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, have excellent decision making skills and good communication skills. This person must be to team player and act as a mentor to other developers while leading a team through the development process.

Requirements:

? 5+ years experience in developing and deploying Microsoft based production quality software for the Windows Desktop

? 2+ years experience with Visual Studio.NET (C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET) developing large scale desktop applications

? A strong working knowledge of the Windows API

? A strong working knowledge of the GDI+ framework

? Experience developing and integrating .Net Windows controls

? Experience integrating 3rd party controls

? Relational Database Design experience, with a high degree of proficiency with SQL Server and stored procedures

? Experience interfacing to relational databases using ADO

? Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions with minimal direction

? Must be flexible and able to work to deadlines

? Quick learner and able to take ownership with little supervision

? Excellent Verbal/Written Communication Skills

? Experience with estimating tasks

? Must show flexibility to pre-established coding standards and conventions


The following technical skills are a plus:

? Visual Basic 6.0, C/C++, MFC, and ActiveX

? Visual Source Safe

? XML/XSL/XSLT/SOAP

? ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, Web Services, JavaScript
