The IMS cornerstone product is the Life Support for Trauma and Transport (LSTAT) patient treatment platform. This patented, international award-winning LSTAT system is a portable Intensive Care Unit and surgical patient-care platform. Integrated within the LSTAT system is a ventilator, multi-channel fluid/drug infusion pump, physiological monitor, clinical blood analyzer, suction system and an automatic external defibrillator. The web-enabled information architecture supports the capture, storage, and transmission of continuous time synchronized multi-device, multi-parameter patient data to local and remote caregivers.

 

IMS is looking for highly qualified individuals to play a prominent role in the development of the next generation of integrated care platforms. The ideal candidate must have strong technical and analytical skills and an excellent track record in product design implementation. This position requires a hands-on, hardworking individual with a good deal of experience interfacing with various engineering disciplines. The qualified candidate must have proven work experience in technical product design and development.

We?re building out our Embedded Software Group. We?re looking for Engineers capable of owning the complete design of modular subsystems spanning the domains of GUI?s, Networking, Real Time Operating Systems, and Device Drivers.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

? BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, with 7+ years relevant experience in embedded software systems architecture and development.  10+ years relevant experience highly desired. Experience with medical device software/systems development highly desired

? Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Embedded Systems Architecture, Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems, Graphical User Interface (GUI)

? Expertise in the following areas is highly desired: Multi-Processor Embedded Systems Architecture, Hardware Interfacing, Communications, Information Security, System/Interface Specification and Design, Human Factors, Software/Systems Risk Management

? Experience with Contemporary Object-Oriented Software/System Development Methods, including Modeling, Analysis, Design and Implementation.  Experienced in implementation of C++, C and assembly language in embedded real-time applications. Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0 Application to Real-Time Software/Systems Development a plus

? Experience under FDA, ISO 9001 or other design controls environment highly desired
