SENIOR SW DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
POSITION TITLE: Sr. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER(s); 1 position available
LOCATION: YORK, PA
Skills, Experience, and Education:
Bachelor's Degree in C.S., E.E. or other related discipline preferred and six plus years of experience.
Knowledge or experience in Automated Testing, Batching Systems and/or MES products/industry.
Programming experience: Software development experience with C#, C++ or other equivalent is required.
Experience designing and implementing commercial software application on MS platforms.
Experience with the mechanisms and methods to accurately assess functional operation of complex software systems.
Experience in the software development life cycle ? 6 years or more of applied experience.
Experience with Rational products a plus
Experience with Wonderware?s InBatch or InTrack or equivalent products a plus
Experience testing with Microsoft products; MS Server OS?s, MS SQLServer, and other .NET applications.
We are seeking highly self-motivated, team oriented software engineers to work in our Software Test organization. The Software Test organization works closely with the Software Developers by verifying the correct functionality of the features implemented; with implementation experience of commercial or ndustrial automation products. Experienced in automated software testing and the ability to write test utilities are required for this position. This specifically requires the ability to understand and communicate with team members the detailed design and implementation of projects for the creation of test cases, and test plans. The position will require the individual to work closely with the Software Developers and provide input into design and implementation to enable better integration with the automated tests and to provide code reviews. Test automation is required for the new applications as they are developed and you will author the first portion of automated tests.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong written and verbal communications and working within a distributed team environment are a must.
