SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - PeopleSoft
Job Description:
Are you a PEOPLESOFT person?
You will be able to create a vision for customer software deliverables. Using business insight as well as technical knowledge, you plan, design, implement, analyze, review, and enhance software products with a focus on quality for customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop online customizations using PeopleTools - Application Designer.
Develop SQR/Application Engine batch programs for interface/conversion/reporting.
Develop custom SQL statements to run against database tables for analysis/trouble shooting.
Create technical specification documents by using business/functional requirements documents.
Required Skills/Experience/Education:
BS in Information Systems or Computer Science or similar degree.
2 Years minimum development experience with Oracle's PeopleSoft 8.x applications .
Strong technical knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Crystal Reports, Component Interfaces, and File Layout.
General knowledge of Integration Tools (Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Component Interfaces, File Layout), PS/Query, nVision, Crystal Reports.
Possess solid technical skills in developing online/batch/reporting customizations.
Experience working with Oracle relational databases.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
General understanding of project methodology/change control/code migration procedure/coding & development standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience/Education:
MS in Information Systems or Computer Science or similar degree.
Strong technical knowledge of these PeopleSoft development tools: nVision, Integration Broker, Application Messaging.
Experience with several functional modules within Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise applications.
Familiar with PeopleSoft delivered workflows.
