Position Title: Software Engineer

Reports To: Technical Team Leader

Applicants should have C# or other .NET language experience.  A good working knowledge of object-oriented design and programming techniques is also required.  Experience with Windows application development is preferred.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

 

?  Responsible for contributing to the timely release of bug-free software.

?  Responsible for software design and coding.

?  Responsible for software testing and debugging.

?  Responsible for helping produce technical documentation.

?  Responsible to verbally communicate with others both within and outside of the product development department.

?  Responsible to research technologies and learn new skills as necessary.

?  Responsible for other duties as assigned or as necessary.

 

SPECIFICATIONS

 

Required:

?  C# or other .NET language experience

?  Working knowledge of object oriented design and programming

?  Strong problem-solving skills

 

Preferred:

?  Experience developing rich client Windows applications

?  Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle

?  Technical design skills

 

Desired:

?  Experience working on a development team

?  Demonstration of having learned new skills on own initiative

?  Strong math background
