SOFTWARE PRODUCT MANAGER

Encore Capital Group has an opportunity for a Software Product Manager within our IT Department.  This individual will serve, as a product champion and subject matter expert with responsibility for understanding client needs, competitors? products, ?buy? vs. ?build? decisions, formulating product strategy, driving product direction and documenting requirements.  This individual will define product requirements using input from various sources including internal departments, competitors? products, market trends and competitive positioning while managing the entire product life cycle of software solutions from strategic planning to tactical activities.

Candidates should possess the following:

? Extensive product analysis, business analysis and software engineering related experience

? Knowledge of business intelligence, data warehouse and analytics environment

? Require deep understanding of overall knowledge of SOA and J2EE technologies

? Experience with ERP and Financial/Accounting Applications a big plus

? Ability to work collaboratively with Operations, Legal, HR, Finance, Marketing Team, and other cross functional groups
