Telsource Corporation the nation?s leading Independent Communications Field Service Company seeks a SQL Server/Oracle DBA to work our Fairfield, N.J. headquaters.

All respondents should have 3-5 years experience in database administration and a BS in Computer Science or related IT experience.

Required skills are:

Experience as SQL Server DBA in a Windows environment with recent SQL Server 2000.

Experience as Oracle DBA with emphasis on v. 9i

Advanced SQL programming skills with the ability to write complex queries.

Ability to specify and manage server hardware configuration.

Experience in logical and physical relational database design.

Perform backups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Monitoring server and database performance and tuning.

Provide optimization feedback to programming

Design and enforce database standards.

Manage and utilize indexes.

Strong TSQL skills: stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and index views (horizontal and vertical data partitioning)

File group experience

Document operating design.

Capacity planning: the production of baseline and historical metrics

In-depth understanding of Transactional Replication and Snapshot Replication
