Sendouts is the leader in on-demand software for the recruiting industry.  As businesses quickly realize that on-demand software is a way to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage, Sendouts is experiencing explosive growth.  To accommodate this growth, we are looking to add a Report Writer Data Conversion Specialist to our team.  This person will work with our employees and clients to create custom reports in the SQL Server 2005 Reporting Engine.  Additionally, this person will work with new and existing customers to convert and import data into the Sendouts Pro application. 



Report Writing Job Responsibilities

?  Gather reporting requirements from the customer.

?  Create mock-up reports for review.

?  Write the stored procedures and views in SQL Server 2005.

?  Design reports and graphs using the SQL Server 2005 Reporting Engine.

 

Data Conversion Job ResponsibilitiesWork with customers to extract data from other software applications.Map data fields from the import file to Sendouts Pro fields and review with customer.Analyze data to be imported and identify potential problems in respect to using within Sendouts Pro.Analyze data that must be manipulated prior to importing.Prepare time estimates and quotations for imports/conversions.Further develop our automated import routines written in MS Access/ADO.Develop standard import routines for specific data sources (competing systems).Develop and execute import scripts on client data.Run quality control processes to compare client import data to final output.Walk the customer through the final data conversion and provide customer support.

 





 Primary RequirementsExperience in writing reports and accessing data through views and stored procedures.Demonstrated Expertise in MS Access, Access Queries, VBA, SQL and ADO.Knowledge of general business applications and data structure.Strong analytical ability.Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

This position requires a solid understanding of VBA code using ADO to work with recordsets.  Prior to an interview, the applicant will be tested on their ability to open a recordset in ADO, manipulate data and add the modified data to other tables.
