SW Developer and IS Technical Support Representative
Job Summary
Assist in the installing of new hardware and maintenance of existing hardware. Design, develop and maintain custom software applications.
Essential Functions
1. Install, troubleshoot and maintain desktop PCs, servers, network facilities, printers and software.
2. Maintain the internal telephone systems.
3. Design, develop, implement and document custom software and web based applications.
4. Provide network administration.
5. Administer company wide anti-virus program.
6. Provide help desk services.
7. Assist the Director, Engineering and the IT Manager as required.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent. Specialized computer science degree and/or PC hardware/software training desirable.
Experience Requirements
One year minimum related job experience or CS degree.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA)
Broad knowledge and skills creating and mining databases. In-depth specialized skills with MS Access, Excel, Word, Visual Basic, ODBC, HTML, SQL, and scripting languages. Desired ability to develop applications in LabView. Solid computer hardware/software knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Overall network operations understanding. Good written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes.
