SYSTEM ANALYST PC & EDI SYSTEMS - INFORMATION SYSTEMS
REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking an ambitious, experienced System Analyst PC & EDI / ABAP. This position will be located in our North American Headquarters in Leesburg, Virginia.
This position will be part of a cross-functional team supporting the Logistics and Financial modules of SAP, and proprietary PC-based (VB, C, C++, MSSQL) production control and shipping systems. The position will be responsible primarily for the programming of Integration and EDI processing solutions supporting these applications. Additional duties will programming of custom ABAP reports and transactions.
Job responsibilitiesPerform EDI mapping and file management using commercial EDI software to generate iDocs for SAP.Perform configuration and ABAP programming in SAP to support EDI integration.Support, maintain, and enhance custom PC applications.Develop and support integration between PC applications and SAP using BAPI, BDC or other techniques.Perform ABAP programming for custom reports and transactions.
Education and Experience required
- BS in computer science, engineering, or similar technical field, or Associates Degree supplemented by demonstrated experience and aptitude.
- General business knowledge in manufacturing, distribution, and/or accounting.
- 2+ years of experience in EDI application programming and support.
- 2+ years of experience with software development and programming using C/C++ and Visual Basic.
- 2+ years of experience with SAP ABAP, ALE, iDOC, and BAPI technologies
- Functional experience with SAP is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact productively with internal and external business partners.
- Highly adaptable, versatile and motivated.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
