SYSTEMS ANALYST - JAVA, J2EE
Convergys has immediate openings for Systems Analysts.? This is a direct hire position offering immediate benefits.
?
Responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and writing programs, determining feasibility, time, and cost estimation.
?
Experience preferred in large project environment, specializing in programming and analysis
?
Must have proficiency in relevant programming and control languages, analytical skills and thorough knowledge of standards and practices
?
Good communication and interpersonal skills are required
?
Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel
?
The selected candidate will be part of the Speechport Development team performing design, development and testing of various software components in a distributed environment. Candidate must have strong Java skills, including experience with J2EE technologies. Candidate should have prior experience with one or more of the following Java technologies; servlets, multi-threading and sockets. Candidate should have prior experience developing large applications within distributed environments. Good analysis and debugging skills are important, as is the ability to work with limited supervision. Experience with web servers, servlet containers and application servers is desirable.? Experience with Solaris, Linux and Rational Rose tools also a plus.
