Safeway.com is looking for a senior .Net developer / architect to work on the Safeway.com e-commerce web site. This individual will work with business users and analysts to formalize requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure successful on-time implementations. The candidate must have experience mentoring and leading a team of developers. Safeway.com?s development team is close-knit group and is looking for another strong team member.

This position will report to the manager of software development.

Requirements

? Expert-level knowledge of .Net/C# web development

? Object-oriented analysis and design including UML and design patterns

? Good estimation skills

? High-transaction and/or e-commerce web applications

? Web services design and implementation

? Experience with AJAX is a plus

? Experience with classic ASP/VB/COM is a plus

? Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical staff and business users.

? Unit testing frameworks such nUnit/jUnit is a plus

? Java/J2EE experience a plus, but must include 2 years minimum .Net experience

This is a full-time position in Pleasanton, CA.

No telecommuting.
