Sales Engineer w/Linux experience

We need a talented individual to fill the role of Sales Engineer for Catalis, Inc.. In this position you will be the one who is responsible for configuring, maintaining and supporting the hardware and software necessary for mobile sales presentations of the Catalis software system.  You will also provide product, equipment,  technical and engineering information to customers during the sales process; help establish new accounts; help prepare cost estimates; help determine improvements and gain customer acceptance.

Qualifications

? Extensive knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

? Knowledge of network terminology and standards of deployment.

? Must be familiar with Linux, VMWear, Oracle (administration and scripting PL/SQL), and sales CRM experience. Knowledge of opensource software is a big plus.

? Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical. Is adept at getting the attention and involvement of the most sophisticated and difficult audiences.

? Promotes excellence by providing superior service to each customer both internal and external.

? Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.  Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.

? Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals.

? Solves problems by gathering information and evaluating options.

? Experience communicating regular status to clients, superiors, and peers.
