Founded in 1985, Symark Software is a leading supplier of Corporate Software Solutions. The company?s focus is on system and security software for cross-platform UNIX installations. Daily, more than 10,000 Corporate, government, and university data centers use Symark?s Software products to enhance the productivity of system managers and protect the integrity and security of their systems.
Job Specification:
Symark sells Unix Software Products to Fortune 1000 companies worldwide. Job functions include following up on incoming leads, prospecting for new business, trial management and handling all aspects of selling and servicing accounts. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of closing significant deals in the software industry, can juggle many tasks simultaneously, is eager to make a healthy income this year, and will contribute to the growth of the company. Spanish speaker will be a plus.
Other qualifications:
The individual should be a self-starter with good written and oral communications skills. Our communication with prospects and customers is primarily via the telephone; so good telephone skills are essential. It is absolutely necessary to be a team player and having a good sense of humor is an asset.
Duties may also involve representing Symark Software in on-site presentations or at trade shows. The individual should live within reasonable commuting distance from Agoura Hills, CA (Los Angeles County/Ventura County Line).
Symark commitments to quality software and superior technical support have been key to the company rapid growth. The company offers free 30-day trials of each of its software products. Unlimited technical support and technical ?walk-throughs?, schedule with a member of Symark technical support staff, assure quick implementation and understanding of the company products.
Salary Range: $ 40,000 yearly + 7% to 15% Commission based on quota.
