Senior Analyst - SAP/BW

Position: Senior Analyst - SAP/BW

 

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP/BW Senior Analyst in our Data Architecture Development Group. We utilize state of the art technology including SAP/BW, IBM's DB2 database management system, AIX Unix, and RS000 hardware. The Data Architecture group develops and maintains the SAP/BW design and reporting, performance metric systems, as well as other DB2-UDB-EEE based data warehousing systems.

 

This position will become part of the team that builds and maintains the SAP/BW and performance metric system deployment. Experience in SAP/BW design and SAP/BW-BEX excel add-in is a requirement. Exposure to SAP/BW-BEX Web Application Developer is highly desirable. Experience with other data warehousing tools such as SQL, and Hyperion Products (such as SQR) would be a plus. Responsibilities will include determining user requirements, writing specifications, and implementing SAP/BW as well as other Management-Level solutions.

 

Skillset: The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

. 5+ years total IS experience

? 2 ? 3 years experience with SAP/BW Design, Development, and Population of Infocubes

? Experience with SAP/BW reporting writing tools such as BEX

? Strong System Analysis and Design skills

. Solid Understanding of Data Architecture and Database Design

. Query and reporting tool experience in a multidimensional environment

 

Other desired skills (but not mandatory) would include:

? Experience with SAP BPS/SEM modules

? Experience with Portals implementations

? Good working knowledge of Performance Metric systems and methodologies

? Fundamentals of multidimensional database design .

? Solid Understanding and good working knowledge of SQL

. Knowledge of Hyperion products would be highly desirable

. Experience with HTML programming

 

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Sciences or MIS preferred, equivalent experience considered.
