Workscape products are based on Struts, JSPs, Tapestry, Hibernate, and DOJOResponsibilities:Review client specific requirements to identify customizations Create design sketches, and estimates for complex customizations Participates in the design and code reviews Modify the UI to meet client requirements using JSP/Struts or HTML/Tapestry tools Implement client specific custom business rules using Java/XML Unit test and validate the changes Support client implementation through testing and production phases Mentor and guide other developers Required Skills:Java technologies: JSP, EJB, JDBC, Struts, Tapestry, Hibernate, DOJO Key Technologies: XML, XSL, HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Junit Database experience: Oracle 10g, PL/SQL Application Servers: BEA s Weblogic, JBOSS Tools: Eclipse IDE, Rational UCM using Clearcase, Clearquest Platforms: MS Windows, Solaris Qualifications:BS/MS degree Can do attitude, verbal and written communication, listening, problem solving, multi-tasking, mentoring, interpersonal skills, organized, self-starter, quick learner, team-oriented, detail oriented, good work ethics 5-6 years of software engineering/development experience, specifically at least 2-4 years of experience in design and development of a Java/J2EE based web applications; Experience with the complete software development lifecycle is desired; Experience working in a professional services/consulting environment will be preferred
